I'm taking a break. I dunno if I want to call it a hiatus really, because I dunno how long it'll last. Could be several days, could be weeks..

I have other projects I want/need to do.. and working on comic pages isn't one of them. XD *watches fans coutn start to drop like flies*

I've got some news to let everyone know concerning the manga. NO.. I'm not stopping or taking a hiatus. XD; But it should be known anyway.

I'll be redrawing chapter one and half of chapter two.. The start of chapter one will be pretty different. It'll start off at a different place and eventually winding back to Lala ending up in the castle, and from there, I'll follow exactly as the older pages go. So no one needs to worry about me completely straying off from the story and screwing everything up. XD And by the way, first first three pages are going to be in full color.

Nevertheless, this isn't going to stop me from working on chapter 4. I'll still update with new pages. And plus, those'll give me the chance to let people know when I update older chapters with newer pages.

I just want to let people and newer readers know so they don't get confused if they see new pages mixed with older ones. ^^ Though needless to say, I'm at the moment being VERY slow with updating. I've been really tired (also known as lazy.. -__-;) lately but I AM drawing. XD;

Yes... it is true. We are finally having our very first fanart contest! The theme: it's time to celebrate!!!!! I'm truly touched by the fact people told me that they really wanted to participate!!!! ^^ And even more so to the fact that Count Spades even HAS this many fans in the first place! XDDDD

-After the contest there will be a big giant party (short comic) by your goofy (and insane) Count Spades characters.. chibisized... any winners and runners up could also have their characters of their own series joining in the party too, so you'll have to look for that. ^____~
-A question I didn't cover was how many entries can be sumitted, there's no limit. If anyone was nice enough to to submit a second entry, I'd be truly touched!! :DDDDD

The deadline is SEPTEMBER 1st!! Plenty of time~

I won't know when.. but soon I will be going offline. We'll be shutting my internet down for a while (don't ask, I won't explain..) so I'm gonna be away for awhile. So until I go offline, I'm going to work on Tesoro Hunters and put Count Spades down for a while until we get some stuff straightened out. I don't know how long I'll be gone. Maybe for a few days... maybe a few weeks. Who knows... so this is just to tell everyone what's up. :D Thanks for understanding, and I love you all. <3

Today I have updated the characters section with half of the new characters I made. The second sweep will completely finish off the characters section.

There are two new main characters; Barbel and Mercier! Congratulations to Trash (creator of Barbel) and Minten (creator of Mercier).

There are two new enemy characters; Mr. Crow and Diamond... both were created by me.

There are four new supporting characters; Chance, Clover, Orange, and Piere! Clover was created by me, and congratulations to XxHaNlxX (creator of Chance), Mousey (creator of Orange), and Kizzy (creator of Piere)!

These are not all of the winners. The second sweep will contrain the rest of the characters I chose from the character submissions and the last of the characters I made myself. So don't feel bad. Hang in there and please be patient~!

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR CHARACTER SUBMISSIONS.
So if you still have a chara to submit though I doubt it, today's the last day. And then I won't accept anymore.

Thanks so much guys. :D I got ALOT of submissions from lots and lots of creative people who like to use their imaginations.

I'm going to spend the next several days going over every single submission I'm received look over every detail and description.

Originally, I was planning to only except three or four characters. But after getting to many really cool ones, I must say that I'll definitely be putting in more. XD

It will take a while, but I will surely let you guys know who the new characters will me.

Also, another thing. Because of the sudden expansion of my characters, I've decided to split the characters into three sections. XD

1.Main characters. These will be the characters that are seen almost the entire time. (ie.. Lala, Spades, Smiley, Hearts..yadda yadda) There will probably be around two or three new characters added to this part.

2.Enemy characters. You know, the bad guys. XD And.. well.. I don't need to explain that.

3.Misc/Other characters. THIS is the section I need to explain. Please don't take the "misc" the wrong way. Misc/Other does NOT mean MINOR characters. XD Believe me, every single character will get their time to shine. When I say misc, I just mean that they aren't around as much as the main characters. So no need to fret. ^^

Thanks so much again, you guys!! I hope you look forward to a LARGLY updated characters section soon.

Okay.. lots to say today. First; the updates. Aside from the new page, I've received a new fanart from the lovely Amiko. Thankyou so much~ ^^ I've already put it up, so please go look at it, everyone. Also, two new profiles up in the characters section, Grave and Joint. Well.. they're not so new because they were in the old characters section a long time ago.

And speaking of characters, I think I would like to add in two or three new characters in the section. So for the time being, character submissions are open. I'll make a place for the first three CREATIVE characters that I like, if you guys are interested. ^^ Please keep in mind of my style.. D: I like either the Victorian style or the jester style. It just works better for me that way. And if you decide you want to make a character, I would prefer it if you draw them so I don't have to spend too much time designing another character. You can get an idea of what the profile of your character should look like in the characters section. PLEASE BE CREATIVE. I can't stress to you enough. I will not pick it if the character isn't original. Try to remember that Count Spades has alot of humor. I can't do much with characters that are way too serious. -3- And of course by submitting a character you've given me the right to change whatever blahdy blahdy blah.. Soo yah. Please only PM or email me the characters. Don't put them on here, okay? I will more likely choose from people who haven't submitted already.. ...unless I really really like it.

Okay.. phew.. and for the last bit of news is concerning summer. I know summer is a time where everyone's celebrating so they can work on more pages after they get exams done. But it's the opposite for me. Almost all of my family is visiting me for the summer, so I won't have alot of time to work on pages. So expect SLOOOOOOWWWW updates. XDDD;; As for Tesoro Hunters and Scarecrows, they are both on hiatus because I just won't have the time to work on other comics while summer is here.

Due to the fact I wasn't able to turn my pc off fast enough, my computer was fried by the storm that we had last night. So now all it's doing is continuously rebooting and not letting me on it. So.. needless to say until I figure out how the hell to fix it, I'm off the internet. So, no manga pages for a while.. as I have no access to my photoshop, scanner, diddly-squat.. Dunno how long it's going to be until I get back, but I still appreciate the support everyone's giving me! Thankyou!
